Here are the steps to configure IPTV on VLC Media Player:
Step 1: Download and Install VLC Media Player if you don’t have one on their official website https://www.videolan.org/.
Step 2: After installing, go to the Preference Menu by pressing ctrl+p for Windows and Command + P for Mac.
Step 3: In the Preference tab, you will find the Show settings section at the bottom. Click on the “All” Radio Button.
Step 4: Now under Input/Codecs -> Video Codecs -> Select FFmpeg
Step 5: FFmpeg tab will open.
Step 6: Disable the Hardware decoding which is under the decoding section of the tab.
Step 7: Now Click Input/Codecs and scroll down to the bottom. You will find Network Caching which you have to set to 3000 ms.
Step 8: Scroll up and in the Network settings section, you will find “MTU of the network interface”.
Step 9: Set it to 1500 for Cable or 1498 for ADSL.
Step 10: Click the Save button.
VLC is ready to play IPTV videos. Now follow the steps:
Step 11: Click on Media on the top of VLC and select Network Stream
Step 12: Enter the URL (M3U URL) we send you via email.
Step 13: Wait till the Channel loads and Select the Channel you want to see.
